Ecological monitoring and conservation at Coed Ty Llwyd, Lisvane
Coed Ty Llwyd is an ancient woodland near Lisvane Reservoir visitor centre. It was purchased in the winter of 2023-4, for the purposes of conservation, research and environmental education. In this talk, Dr. Rob Thomas will give a flavour of the diversity of wildlife living in and around the wood, as well as some of the interesting challenges of looking after an ancient woodland in a rapidly changing landscape.
